The Haunted Loft

The Haunted Loft

Fortville, Indiana was the average rural town. The farmers went about their business and tended to their crops, and life went on…until farmer Sanders moved back to town. After being dishonorably discharged from the military, the former colonel sought to prove his brilliant ideas about genetic mutations were not “a danger to society and a gross violation of human rights,” or whatever his general had said.

Upon returning to his family’s corn farm, he quickly began developing Maize-X. The growth hormone was intended to make corn grow faster, grow bigger, and contain 100x the nutritional value of regular corn. Sanders believed if he could test such a chemical on corn, and have it succeed, the same sort of chemical could someday improve the human race. After months of testing Maize-X in the secrecy of the barn’s attic, he fed the mutated corn to some farmhands. At first no symptoms could be seen but the farmhand began to change, from the inside. Slowly overtime they began mutating into husks of their former selves. Corn-like welts began sprouting from beneath their skin.

Climb up to The Loft, and uncover the dangerous truth behind Maize-X for yourself. Sanders’ own personal mad scientists’ lab will send a chill down your spine as you find the remains of his failed experiments and mutated farmhands who were held captive as Sanders continues his tests on them. Watch your step; you’re one creaky floorboard away from Sanders finding you and adding you to his collection of human lab rats.

Cornstalkers Haunted Trail

Cornstalkers Haunted Trail

When the dusty old loft became much too crowded, it was time for the disgraced farmer to expand his mutants’ living quarters. Sanders had come to love his twisted creations, and in turn they worshiped him like a god. He hid the mutants deep in the woods behind the farm. It became a small village of sorts, with the corn mutants living in shabby huts whenever they were not tending the Maize-X corn on the farm. They lived, breathed, and loved the corn. With production on the farm at an all time high, Sanders became crazed with power and demanded the mutants help him garner more kerneled farmhands. He instructed the mutants to capture any passersby who may find their way into the woods. These captives were then force fed Maize-X corn and their fates were sealed.

Now you, too, could possibly be fated to the same unfortunate end. The Cornstalkers Haunted Trail will seem to stretch on for miles as you navigate the heavy brush and make your way through the mutants’ terrifying community. You will have to keep moving to dodge the grasp of Sanders’ brainwashed creations. If you linger for even a moment too long, you will certainly taste the bitter bite of Maize-X and feel grains of corn push out from your skin.

Labyrinth Corn Maze

Labyrinth Corn Maze

In the end, Farmer Sanders’ became mad with ambition and when his creations did not obey or reject his process, the mutants were banished and condemned to the old corn field on Sanders’ abandoned farm.

Shackled to posts, they were dressed in clownish garb and sentenced to live as scarecrows for the rest of their days, with birds pecking at their grainy welts. Visit the mutants now in The Labyrinth Corn Maze to ogle at what is left of Sanders’ downfall. It will surely be good fun…until the shackles break and there’s nowhere to hide from the furious mutants. Be careful, these clownish freaks are extra sensitive to UV light. Only time will tell if you can escape the nightmarish corn maze.
